Something extraordinary is coming to Georgia next May and we need the support of hundreds of volunteers to make sure it has a lasting impact on our state.

From May 11th to May 16th 2008, over 1,500 of the world’s brightest young scientists and inventors, including many young Georgians will compete for over $4 million in scholarships and awards.   As they gather here in Atlanta, these students will be inspired by Nobel Laureates, academicians, and leading scientists and researchers from our city of Atlanta, the State of Georgia, and from around the world.

Volunteers play a tremendous role every year in ensuring the success of the Intel ISEF.  Traditionally over 750 volunteers from the host city and host state help support the Host Committee in all aspect of the week-long event.

We have a wide range of different volunteer needs both during the Intel ISEF week of May 11 – 17, 2008, but also in the time leading up to it.

We welcome volunteers from local businesses and corporations; members of community and religious groups; staff and students from our higher educational community; and professional societies and civic groups in the Atlanta region and throughout Georgia.

We hope we can count on your support as we move forward.
