Something extraordinary is coming to Georgia next May and we need your support to make sure it has a lasting impact on our state.  

From May 11th to May 16th 2008, over 1,500 of the world’s brightest young scientists and inventors, including many young Georgians will compete for over $4 million in scholarships and awards.   As they gather here in Atlanta, these students will be inspired by Nobel Laureates, academicians, and leading scientists and researchers from our city of Atlanta, the State of Georgia, and from around the world.  

Gathering together at the Georgia World Congress Center and in various other local forums next May, the world’s top scientists and researchers of all ages will share ideas; engage in formal and informal discussions and presentations; participate in formal judging and presentation; and be recognized for their excellence on a national and international stage. 

Atlanta and Georgia are honored to host this annual event in 2008 – the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair presented by Agilent Technologies (Intel ISEF). The Intel ISEF is the crowning achievement in the United States, and internationally, in high school science competitions. 

Traditionally, local and state government, corporations, educational institutions, and interested citizens from the host city and host state of the Intel ISEF all join together to support the ISEF Host Committee.  Over $1.5 million in local funding is necessary to deliver this world-class event, in addition to the over $3 million that has already been secured by long-time sponsors including the Intel Corporation. 

 High visibility sponsorships are still available at many different levels, and donations of all sizes are encouraged and welcomed. 

We ask for your support today as we work to deliver a world-class celebration of creative inquiry and scientific excellence.  Together through the Intel ISEF you can join with us to demonstrate to young people from around the world, and right here in Georgia, that our city and state recognizes and applauds their efforts and achievements.
